# Disconnecting a bank account from connected apps

## What does disconnecting a bank account from a connected app do?
If you choose to disconnect a bank account from a connected app, this means that the business will no longer be able to access new data from that bank account.
Before disconnecting your account, we recommend reaching out to the business where you connected your bank account to learn more about how disconnecting may affect your product and/or service experience.&nbsp;
## How do I disconnect a bank account from a connected app?
You can disconnect third-party business apps at any time by logging into Link.
1. [Log in](https://app.link.com/login) to your Link account.
1. Navigate to **Settings**.
1. Select **Apps and agents** to see a list of your connected apps.
1. Select the **connected app** you want to disconnect.
   - If you don't see the bank account you want to disconnect, those bank details aren't saved to Link. First add your bank details, then disconnect the account.
1. View and disconnect app.
If you want to remove bank information you’ve shared with a business, you’ll need to visit their website or contact the business directly.
## How do I remove a bank account from Link?
You can remove your bank account from at any time by logging into Link.
1. [Log in](https://app.link.com/login) to your Link account.
1. Go to **Wallet** to view your saved account (s).
1. Select an account, then select “Remove”.
Please note that removing a bank account from Link generally will not terminate existing subscriptions or payment plans, but exceptions may apply. We recommend visiting the business’ website and contacting them directly to confirm whether an existing subscription or payment plan will continue.&nbsp;
If you have connected apps that have not been removed prior to removing your saved account from Link, Link will continue to access data for those connected apps. Otherwise, Link may retain certain financial information, including financial account information, where permitted by applicable law or in connection with disputes. Link may also continue to collect your financial account information if you have other connected bank accounts that share the same login credentials. ## What if I removed a bank account from Link but would like to manage it again?
If you have removed your bank account from Link already but would like to be able to manage the connections it has with other third-party business again, you’ll need to re-add your bank details to Link in order to manage its connected apps.
