# Fees when using Link to buy crypto

## Standard fees
There are two types of fees associated with making a crypto purchase using Link:
* **Processing fees:** These are payment processing fees charged based on factors such as your order value and the payment method you’ve used. These will normally amount to 3-5% of your order value and will be shown in more detail before you make a purchase.
* **Network fees:** These [gas fees](https://ethereum.org/en/developers/docs/gas/) fund the computations required to validate your purchase on the blockchain. They’re dynamically calculated based on blockchain network conditions.
## Will I be charged a cash advance fee for my crypto purchase?
Some credit card issuers treat crypto purchases as cash advances. Because of this, you may be charged a cash advance fee on your crypto transaction.
While the exact amount varies, these fees are typically around 3%, sometimes with a 10 USD/EUR minimum.
To avoid paying this fee, we recommend using your bank account instead. If you choose to pay with a credit card, you should check with your credit card issuer before completing the transaction to see if a cash advance fee will be charged.
