# How do I withdraw a claim?

If you’ve already filed a claim, but want to withdraw it from consideration, you need to reach out to Link’s support team to formally request this withdrawal.
**Follow these steps:**
1. Go to Link
1. Click **Contact Support** (make sure you're logged in)
1. Via chat or email, tell the Support agent that you would like to withdrawal your claim
   * Make sure to include your Claim Reference number & XCover Reference number (which can be found in any claims emails you've received from Link or XCover, or by navigating to the purchase detail page)
1. Link support will work with Cover Genius to ensure this withdrawal takes place
