# How will I receive payment?

In the event your claim is approved, you'll receive an email from XCover (via Cover Genius Insurance Services LL) prompting you to accept payment.
Once you’ve opened the approval email, take the following steps:
1. Select **accept payment** in the email
1. Enter your email on **xcover.com** and select **continue**
1. Navigate back to your email and select **activate my account** within the verification email that was just sent to you
1. Create a password and activate your account
1. Navigate back to the original email and select **accept payment** again
1. Enter your account details to officially accept your payment
Enter your information carefully, as incorrect details may cause delays in payment processing. As soon as you submit your payment information, your payment will automatically be sent. You'll also receive an email from XCover that the payment has been sent and is now processing. Note that payments may take up to 5-7 business days to complete.
As a reminder, all emails are sent from a verified and official domain and will always include the official company logo and branding. Always confirm that these elements are present.
