If you have a Link account in Ireland, you can nominate a trusted contact person for your account. A trusted contact person is someone Link can contact in specific situations. They can’t access or manage your Link account.
## How to nominate a trusted contact person
You can nominate a trusted contact person by contacting Support.
## When Link may contact your trusted contact person
Link may contact your trusted contact person in the following situations:
- Link has concerns that you may be experiencing financial abuse.
- Link needs to confirm your contact information.
- Link has difficulty contacting you.
## What a trusted contact person can’t do
- Access or manage your Link account.
- Act on your behalf.
- Act as your legal representative.
- Serve as a third-party authority on your account.
