# What do I need to do to verify my account?

There are two steps you’ll need to take to verify your account:
* Click on the verification link that’s sent to the email address associated with your Link account to confirm your email address.
* Depending on what you're using Link for, you may need to provide:
  * Your name
  * Address
  * Social Security Number (SSN) for US accounts.
Additional forms of identification may be needed in certain cases. You can use any one of the following documents to verify your identity:
* A current and valid passport
* Driver’s license
* State-issued ID card
