# What happens when I delete my Link account?

By deleting your Link account your saved cards, address information and purchase history will all be deleted. Once deleted, your account cannot be reinstated.
**Saved Bank:** If you used Link to connect your bank account or share bank account information with a business, use this [form](https://support.stripe.com/user/how-do-i-disconnect-my-linked-financial-account) to request data deletion and disconnection. Otherwise, this disconnection with the business will remain even after Link account deletion.
**Subscriptions:** If your purchase was sold through Link, your subscription will be canceled upon Link account deletion. Otherwise, your subscription will likely remain unaffected. You'll need to contact the business to cancel any subscriptions.
**Purchase Protections:** By deleting your account, you'll lose access to your payment history which will include accessing any Purchase Protections you were eligible for.
**Identity Documentation:** If you used your Link account to verify your identity with a business, you'll need to complete this [form](https://support.link.com/how-to-delete-your-saved-identity-document) to delete saved identity documents.
