# What is Link card?

Link card is a digital debit card issued by Visa that you can use online or via Apple Pay or Google Pay.
This card is directly funded by your [Link balance](https://support.link.com/questions/link-balance-faq#what-is-link-balance) and is only available to a select group of users who have balance enabled on their Link account.
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Link card. You might be asked to verify your age with documentation.
