# Why did my payment method get declined? 

Link is a Stripe product that provides a secure way to check out faster by autofilling your saved payment methods, contact information, and shipping details everywhere Link is accepted.
Your payment method might have been declined because of issues with your payment method or bank such as:
* Insufficient funds
* Incorrect payment details such as CVC code, card number, billing information
* Expired card
* Unusual account activity detected by your bank / card issuer
To prevent any further interruptions while using Link, we suggest you:
* Ensure you have the proper amount of funds in your account.
* Verify all of your payment details are correct and up to date within your [Link account](https://app.link.com/wallet).
* Add a back up payment method to your [Link account](https://app.link.com/wallet), which will be automatically charged in the event your default payment method is declined.
* Contact your bank or card issuer directly to learn more about other reasons you might be facing this problem.
